There will be Early Release on Friday, December 22 to start off the break. Christmas Break will run from Monday, December 25th through Tuesday, January 9th for students. Teachers & Staff will report back to work on Monday, January 8th.

Progreso ISD, in conjunction with the City of Progreso, are proud to present their 7th Annual Winter Parade & Festival on Thursday, December 21, 2023. The Winter Parade will begin at 5pm and the Festival will take place directly after the parade at the Red Ant Stadium. All are welcome to attend! dParagraph
November 17, 2023
STAAR EOC retesting will take place from Tuesday, December 5, 2023-Friday, December 8, 2023. If any student has not met grade level on English I, English II, Algebra 1, Biology and U.S. History EOC , they MUST test. We will be sending out robocalls to parents of students who need to retest. If you have any questions, please call the PHS front office.
November 17, 2023
We will be on Thanksgiving Break from November 20-24. Only students who have STC courses will be required to attend next week from Monday through Wednesday, unless the instructor has canceled classes. ALL classes will resume on Monday, November 27.

TSI tutorials, EOC Tutorials & Credit Recovery will resume after the Winter Break.
If any student is pending STAAR, needs to test TSI or owes credits, attendance after school is MANDATORY.
The schedule is as follows:
Mondays: English I, TSI, & Credit Recovery
Tuesdays: English II, TSI & Credit Recovery
Wednesdays: Algebra 1, Biology, TSI & Credit Recovery
Thursdays: Biology, U.S. History, TSI & Credit Recovery
*Transportation & snacks are provided.
Parents and students, please make sure to look over our Student Dress Code policy for the 2023-2024 school year. Please note that we will STRICTLY enforce the dress code. If students are found to be in violation, they will be asked to immediately address the situation at school OR will be sent home until they are in compliance. If you have any questions, please call the office.
